Weights Bench

Now that you're getting serious you should get something good, no point getting a cheap bench and then having to upgrade it shortly after. If you're doing minutes a day you should probably get something heavy and sturdy. I recommend the bodymax zenith olympic flat bench, it's sold by Galactico Sports, an Irish company, so shipping won't be expensive. Enjoy.

    Hi,

THanks for the reply. Inwould not say I am at that stage just yet. Basically I want a simple but sturdy bench to do dumbell excercises. Price would be an issue to. WOuld the one in the link above be suitable for me considering size and weight?

    Thanks again,

    frAg

When it comes to buying a weights bench you should try and get the best possible option even if that means readjusting your budget. Once you have a good bench you will have it for life and they are very easy to transport if you were to move house.

Check out adverts. You can go see it and sit on it in person to make sure it's ok before handing over money. Better than taking a chance online. Most likely cheaper on adverts too.

Yeah but once I factor in cost of flights to and back as well as cost of having it delivered it would cost me more.....

So I had this delivered this morning.......http://www.bowflexcatalog.com/bowflex_catalog/nln/searchproducts/prdcd~140004/Bowflex+SelectTech+51+Series+Bench.jsp

I got it of gumtree for £100 and it was still in the box so I got a good bargain. The reviews are good for it so happy out. Just need to get on it and start working out!!

    Cheers

Not familiar with that bench but in general Bowflex gear is total junk.

Avoid their adjustable dumbbells for sure.
