I got 2 fillings on Monday.

Since then anytime I have eaten I still get pains.

    Is this normal or what?

I went to dentist last week. Got 2 xrays and he said my teeth were fine bar 2 fillings needed. Got them done Monday, but since I had my lunch today my teeth have been sore.

Just to add the pain has been worse then anytime before the fillings.

if they are painful just when you eat then they may still settle down in due course. over the counter anti inflammatories should be ok for now.
if the pain is there without any stimulation then you should go back, although 2 days isn't a lot of time yet.

How does the bite feel, do the filling feel a little high in the bite or lumpy?

    a little high.

this pain only starts after i eat.

just home and ready to eat. i let you know later if better or worse.

it may be normal. if it is i can deal with it for few days

A common problem with filling is that the bite is a bit high as you dont bite the same when your numb. A simple adjustment may be all that is necessary.

in unreal pain this evening even though got filling Monday.

Surely I should not be in pain at this stage?

I presume dentist will give me free check up for this? It cant be right like.
