Wearing a belt high when deadlifting. I mean really high

When I seen this video at first I thought it was leeman being an oddball but a few people much stronger than me didn't shoot it down and when I deadlifted yesterday I remembered it and gave it a go.

Long story short his arguement is that in the low position the belt can get in the way and that some people need support in the mid back rather than low back.
I had 3 top sets in which I went from standard position to higher than normal to much higher than normal. Maybe it was that I was more used to the weight after the 1st set but the 2nd and 3rd set did feel better.
Anybody else ever play around with belt position?

I toyed around with it for a while. I had a tendency to wear it higher too, but that was for comfort and I thought I gt more compression from my abs.

Then again, it could have all been bollocks, but it was more comfortable. Could be why I never got injured in my terrible deadlifting phase this year :pac:
