Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

For the spoke, I did the descent then took the pic. Didn't wanna go over 40kph just in case. A nice descent ruined. I couldn't fix the wheel and didn't trust it to be fixed right so I ended up paying over the odds for a spare wheelset in some bike shop. Otherwise my cycling holiday was over. Turns out the mechanic was useless anyway cos he bodged swapping out the Shimano freehub with a Campag one and my wheel wouldn't freewheel properly. It meant the chain would go slack. That didn't help when descending Khutai the next day. Shame I hadn't noticed it on my test ride.
Then for the puncture, my bro was carrying the pump and he had descended much faster than me, so after I finally got through on the phone I had to wait there while he climbed back up the mountain. Thankfully I was closer to the bottom than the top.0 -
