Hi lads I've searched online but I only seem to be finding programs people are trying to sell. Basically i'm looking for a program to use at the gym to promote weight loss.

What machines and for what length of time should I be using?

    Thanks

If you have your eating in order, pretty much any exercise in the gym will help with fat loss.

Figure out how many calories you should be taking in each day. then, consume less that that for weight loss.

If you consume 500 cals a day less than you need to maintain your current weight, you will lose 1lb per week.

If you eat enough to maintain your current weight and then do some exercise, the exercise will burn calories and you will lose weight accordingly.

It's shockingly easy to do which is the great part :)

Then there's no specific exercise that you need to do to aid your weight loss. Just anything that burns calories.

Nothing specific but if I was to do any it would be something with intervals. Research suggests HIIT is the most effective fat burning exercise. Although as mentioned, if your eating is sorted then any exercise is effective. Circuit training, trx, spinning. It's 75% diet, 25% exercise

Hiit is certainly a good place to start-more bang for your buck, I've found. But mix it up...cardio and some weight training.

hi i tried various diet plans and exercise regimes over the years. i got my weight from 95kg to 86kg in 6 months by using website www.livestrong.com. basically you type in your details and how much you want to lose. it calculates how many calories you can consume a day. you can calculate calories by typing in name of food product into the search section. as commented in previos posts id focus on controlling eating portions and weight will drop off
