Have a look at the nutritional information on the packet. The recommended serving size is usually tiny (eg 30g is like a little pile of dust in the bowl) and the calories and sugar content is usually large for that little portion. Porridge is your best bet cereal-wise for nutrition and satiety

There's no bad food. Only bad diet.

    Hiya

Keep an eye out for Lizis Granola, a good mix of oats and nuts and sugar is controlled in it also, a good granola choice.

Not like the Crunchy Nut Granola...some people have eaten all that in one sitting ...oops

They can be extremely high in sugar. Like others have said focus on your overall diet not just this one food.

I make my own -400g mixed nuts, 200g porridge oats, 50g sesame seeds, 50g linseed, 50g pumpkin seed - mix in blender until grinded small, then in a bowl I mx with warm water to moisten and a few spoons of honey - spread out thinly on a baking tray - takes about 40 mins to cook like it would be toasted through, and you need to stir frequently, but it will keep fresh for weeks in airtight container
