    Seems appropriate.

What will be interesting is if they will follow through the original plan of
Big E Langston beating Dean Ambrose for the US title which was scheduled to happen on WWE Main Event but didn't as there was a total lack of communication between Creative and the travel department. Ambrose had to get a headstart on getting to Europe.

    I really think
if Big E is to win the title they should save it for a PPV and make it a big moment. He's got momentum now and winning the title on a PPV like Survivor Series would be a much bigger deal then a throwaway RAW imo.

Also will Fandango-ing be a thing again?

Wondering if I should bother staying up since last week was so awful.

it would give alot more credibility to the UK Raw/Smackdown shows, and have them as more than just effectively a televised house show.

There will be spoilers available early too, seeing as it's not being broadcast live.

    Don't do it. It's a trap.

I only work weekends and Bank Holidays now unless they are short staffed. I'm usually off on Tuesday and can never go asleep early. It's not the staying up late part that is the issue, it's the "can I watch something better instead?" bit :pac: I'll be up anyway.

AJ is my reason for watching and she gets maybe five minutes now :(

Dont have a direct source but apparently Steph and Hunter arent there so Corporate Kane will be tonight's evil authority

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 16,096 ✭✭✭✭the groutch

that would explain why they rushed Kane's return

There is probably a good reason for this, but why can't the UK and Irish fans watch it live rather than it being delayed for American audiences, it would only be for two shows a year. Does it have to with the network in the US that the WWE is on?

Money. It's far more expensive for WWE to broadcast live than taped and Sky Sports would have to bump whatever's on now (live tennis, darts etc). It'd also upset the regular schedule WWE is on Sky. Since it's a much smaller audience than US they just don't bother. They could if they really wanted. It'd be really cool though. It'd even be a small incentive to attend the show live, hours before the rest of the world sees it. Sky's deal doesn't impact their deal with USA Network (which only deals with the US). WWE have changed US channels (Spike, UPN, SyFy etc) but WWE TV has been on Sky Sports for about 20 years now.

WWE Champion Randy Orton kicks off RAW and cuts a promo. He’s interrupted by Brad Maddox, who wants Orton vs. Cody Rhodes tonight. Kane interrupts, tells Maddox to shut up and wants Orton vs. Goldust for tonight. Vickie Guerrero comes out and says she’s going to do what’s best for business – a handicap with Orton taking on Cody and Goldust.
    * Cody Rhodes and Goldust defeat Randy Orton by count out when Big Show interferes and throws Orton through a table. Orton is unable to make it back in the ring.
    * Santino Marella Los Matadores vs. 3MB is up next. 3MB come out in Union Jack ring attire to a positive reaction. Matadores and Santino get the win and El Torito gets involved after the match.
    * Dolph Ziggler vs. Curtis Axel will take place later tonight.
    * Damien Sandow defeated Kofi Kingston.
    * Randy Orton runs into an office backstage where Vickie Guerrero, Kane and Brad Maddox are. Orton is upset and complains about what Big Show did to him earlier.
    * Curtis Axel vs. Dolph Ziggler is up next for the Intercontinental Title. Axel gets the win with his neckbreaker.
    * Backstage segment with Kane and Brad Maddox. The Shield vs. CM Punk and Daniel Bryan in a handicap match is announced for tonight’s main event. In another handicap match, John Cena will face Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro.
    * Tamina Snuka defeated Nikki Bella after AJ Lee interfered. Brie Bella cleared the ring after the match.
    * Randy Orton walks up on The Shield backstage and is angry because they didn’t help him with Big Show earlier. They said they were busy but Orton isn’t happy. The Shield say it’s not their problem and Orton walks off.
    * Fandango and Summer Rae are out next as the whole arena does the Fandango dance. Tyson Kidd is out next. Fandango gets the win.
    * Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro vs. John Cena is up next. There was a loud “Mr. Bean” chant thanks to a Zeb Colter promo. Alberto Del Rio came down mid-match to watch Cena. The hate from fans against Cena was said to be some of the loudest ever during this match. Cena ends up getting the win after a STF on Swagger. After the match, Del Rio attacked Cena until Big E Langston made the save.
    * Backstage segment with Alberto Del Rio complaining to Brad Maddox about Big E Langston.
    * Ryback vs. R-Truth is up next. Truth gets the win after ducking a Meathook clothesline.
    * Alberto Del Rio defeated Big E Langston.
    * CM Punk and Daniel Bryan vs. The Shield in a handicap match is up next. The lights go out and The Wyatt Family interrupt the match. They side with The Shield and it’s 6 on 2 until The Usos, Cody Rhodes and Goldust come out to make it 6 vs. 6. RAW ends with the babyfaces getting the upperhand.

Raw picks up where it left off last week. Awful opening segment.

Cody should have brought back the 'tash for Movember.

I wonder how much audio-sweetening/retakes they had to do. Crowd are really entertaining themselves!

That post-Wrestlemania crowd has ruined a lot of shows. Everyone tries to copy it now. It was awful the first time, why try copy it?

JBL with a spice girls reference.

Haha, I lol'ed at the crowd singing a Cody Rhodes chant to the theme of "Cheerio, Cheerio, Cheeeriooooooooo"

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,478 ✭✭✭✭gnfnrhead

Well guess that means Orton and Show get to go home early.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,478 ✭✭✭✭gnfnrhead

Oh showing that Big Show left? He definitely isnt coming back later.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,013 ✭✭✭✭jaykhunter

It makes me sad that Los Matadores have crowd reaction embedded into the song. It's quite desperate!

On the plus side, imagine how much money you've saved not flying to Manchester, buying tickets, and staying the night!

Can they sack him if he comes back to work drunk? :P

I reckon they got the "Olé" thing so people won't use it for Sami Zayn when he gets called up.

I may be wrong, but I'm fairly sure that's Kofi, not Cena or Del Rio

Some guy, on his own, singing "Oh, Damien Sandow" to the tune of 7 Nation Army. :pac:

Sandow badly needs a new finish. He'll never win a World title with the You're Welcome.

Urgh, Axel is going to win this by doing a Cena

Nice main event if it doesnt get overbooked.

    Shield vs Bryan/Punk.

By God, yeah. That Kane/Cena/Eve storyline really buried him 6 feet under. He's still picking soil out of his teeth.

I like this growing trend of wrestlers not wearing trunks, but rather full-length tights, like Tyson Kidd and Kofi.
