Mic for VOIP at a meeting

I'm looking into a VOIP system for our meeting room.

Currently the phones seem to be around 400 euro :eek:

Is there a mic that can be bought to connect to a windows laptop which will pick up the voices of everyone around the small table?

You would probably need something more sophisticated than a single multi-directional microphone and a speaker for the responses from the other location(s). Otherwise the microphone would pick up the speaker and you would get echo.

Yeah that's a pity. It would be nice if there was a piece of kit that done this. We could just connect a laptop to it and away we go

I have one and have used it for conference cals with 4 or 5 people at the table and it worked well
