I used to take RAM recovery after the gym and it was great, but its almost impossible to get now days.

So i moved to optimum nutrition 2:1:1 and its not bad, but its quite expensive, about 60 quid for a months supply.

Anyone recommend if thats as affordable as the recovery shakes get or if there's a product thats more affordable and worth getting?

I know i can make my own with juices etc, but i need to be able to keep it in my bag all day when at work, so anything that needs refrigeration is not an option.

buy a tub of protein and a couple of bananas (or else dextrose sugar but it wont taste great). Job done and far far cheaper. Add some glutamine or bcaa's in to if you want a bit of an extra kick

    Full fat milk
    Or
    Whey protein and glucose powder.

You dont need a "recovery shake".

The next 24 hrs of food and rest is the "recovery shake".

Save your 60 quid and buy 60 chicken fillets (or two kilo of fillet steak mmmmmmmm).
