Can't say I've noticed a decrease under Black, seems about the same for me.

same here, been on black for quite a while and no change at all. I still use my phone as often, with lots of data services in the background.

compared to my old hd7 i rarely if ever see a low battery warning of an evening.

I've been keeping on eye on the battery life of my Lumia 820 for the past 2 weeks or so, and the only thing that makes a difference is whether 4G is enabled or not.

Even when not using the phone much, with 4G enabled the battery does appear to drain a little faster.

I actually just turned off 4g a while ago as it was causing dropped calls when number of bars of reception were low. The switch from 4g to 3g was killing / dropping calls.
