Urban, if you want to join this thread with the jumps one go for it, but thought it better to split em' up!!

Cristofo Columbo needs fast ground and will get it tonight, so he could go well at 14/1
Declaration of War has a great chance at 7/1 as i thought he would be shorter and will love the dirt being by War Front.

16s Cristoforo was very big each way, I think he's better than his form figures suggest this year and he will finally get his ground. May not win but could easily make the frame, Olympic Glory is a bit unknown on this ground

Also fancy Magician at 6/1 to beat the Fugue

Oh yeah i forgot about Magician!

Ballydoyle 3 timer is asking a bit much :D

Ballydoyles Havana regarded as the best 2yr old in the world is drawn in Florida. If he was drawn in 5,6 or 7 he would be 1/1.The trainer recently said about the grey "one of the best ive ever trained".Romantica 11/2 is overpriced and she will love the fast going. For all the e/w players 6/1 Olympic Glory is a very serious price and will run a huge race from a great draw in 5.

He does have a hoorendous draw alright. But could possibly overcome it i think. Tbh though imo i dont think he is the best 2yo in the world i dont even think he is the best horse in the race.
I was really taken aback by Tap it Rich's debut a couple of weeks back He absolute fell out of the stalls and won so easily. This might be a bit to soon for him now after just 1 run not that long ago but i think he just might prove to be the best of these in time.

Horrible horse. Every time the jockey asked him to do it he ducked in. They should shoot the horse after that.

That sounds like the Dirty Harry approach.

Would you waste a bullet on it?

Actually probably wouldn't. Just leave it at the side of the highway and let it kill itself.

The one night of the year where i allow myself to get a bit carried away with my bets. Have a few lined up.

Really like She's a Tiger in the first and Dank in the second(dont like the current price though). More to follow. Looking forward to the night

    The Fugue Breeders Cup Turf.

    I'm on

    Game On Dude
    Cristoford Colombo
    Magician
    Romantica

Bit of an Aidan O'Brien bias going on. I reckon he has been targeting these races for months and his horses will be primed as only he can get them.

That was a horrible looking fall Velazquez took there. Somebody might be picking up a fair handy spare if he aint alright.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,818 ✭✭✭ste2010

Some bookies will pay first past the post....had it with Elsie during the week myself

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 18,335 ✭✭✭✭UrbanSea

The rules that apply to UK and Irish more than likely won't apply with the BC. I'd say they'll just pay the promoted horse but some might

She is already a gr.1 winner but in a very poor Romonet. This race has no bet written all over it for me, Dank is solid but these American fillies are above their usual standard. Even the second outsider Lady of Shamrock was the best three year old filly in America last year, she was hampered and beaten over 2 lengths in a better version of this last year.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,340 ✭✭✭sting60

Havana was upped from 5f to a mile and beat the anti post fav for 2014 Kentucky Derby. To me 4/1 is massive depending on draw and lack of Lasix. His form in context of this race is in another planet.

I posted after he won on debut. A 2 year old nearly breaking the track record first time out. Not half bad

Anywhere I can watch this on an iPad?

Powers will pay official and first past the post if it is covered by SiS so I would guess it should be covered.

Cheers have a fair handle on the US form just dont really follow the french. Dank is my idea of the winner tbh but as you said looks like a no bet race.

Secret Compass euthanized after race still no word on Velazquez bar the fact that he is gone to a nearby hospital. Gonna miss 3 or 4 at least.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 18,335 ✭✭✭✭UrbanSea

Not saying Romantica can't win but it would be disappointing if her form to date was good enough

    Ground a worry too

Horrible to see any horses put down. Even nastier when they are machines of this calibre.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 18,335 ✭✭✭✭UrbanSea

Commentator was a bit over the top there, not sure Dank is a sensational filly

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,564 ✭✭✭kiers47

What an uncomplicated ride from Ryan Moore. Horse absolutely flew out of the stalls. Ha he says he didnt think he was at her best and she broke the race record. Legend.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,564 ✭✭✭kiers47

Should have pulled the trigger to go 2 from 2 oh well onwards and upwards.

Renees Titan beat Beholder earlier this year here at Santa Anita.

Rubbish since at different tracks, but if back to that form 40/1 is huge.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,564 ✭✭✭kiers47

Went with the godolphin horse here in what looks an open event. 10/1 looks generous.

In the Turf Sprint I see Dimension is trained by Conor Murphy, is that the lad from Hendersons stable that moved to America when got the acca up at Cheltenham?
