    Hey im currently 23 m 5ft 9/10

over the last 12 months ive dropped from 12st 9 to 11st 2 im now just struggling to get to my ideal weight( 10 st 7) and drop the last of the belly as ive done nothing but weights last few months and while my chest arms and shoulders are in great shape i still have a small belly id like to eradicate lol

Im in college so i can only get 2-3 gmy days in a week but my diet is ok im not always able to get 3 full meals a day but i tend to eat a lot of salads with meat of any kind thats usualy what id have for dinner and soups or meat variations throughout the day and i drink a lot of water everyday im currently back playing soccer 2-3 times a week to help with cardio but i do go out 1-2 nights a week but i drink spirits only no beer/cider.

Ive been struggling to get down below the 11stone mark for few weeks now and im just looking for some advice and i have access to gym 24/7 cos my friends father owns the gym i go to just want know what tweeks i could make or is der a short term thing i could do cos i could maintain my diet after so i know i woulnt put the weight back on quickly 1 gym member said a water fast but im not entirely sure about this

any advice appreciated not sure if theirs any more info id need to give let me know

First off ignore the scales and just go by looks and measurements.

You'll probably need to look at changing things up diet wise as the diet that got you to where you are now might not be the one to bring you to your next stage.

What you need to do is have a read of the stickies, and then this:

    http://www.nerdfitness.com/blog/2010/10/04/the-beginners-guide-to-the-paleo-diet/

and then spend the next 4 weeks tracking everything you eat and then you'll have a baseline to work from.

F*ck the water fast who ever recommended it hasn't a clue, you'll do it drop weight from not eating then be right back to where you start a couple of weeks after.

think i read somewhere about it being ideal weight for 23 year old male but as amazingemmet said a lot of people have said to forget about the scales i wouldnt care if i was 12 stone once it was muscle and a low bf %

its more the belly i want to get rid of then the weight on the scales i worry about

the paleo thing is what i based my original diet plan on i was literaly just on green veg/salad and meat for few months and the weight fell off but like i said ive hit a brick wall.

ive heard of apps on phone any ideas for a good one cos its only way ill be able track it cos between college sports gym etc im usualy on the go with a few things and its hard sometimes to keep track

This. You'll only need to tweak your diet a little to drop the body fat. But trying to drop another 9 pounds from where you are, given your height, is setting yourself an unlikely goal especially if you want some muscle on your frame.

The idea of an idea weight for age is a bit silly. You are already pretty light.

If you think you have 9 lbs to lose that's one thing. But chasing an idea weight you think you might have read one time is bizarre.

If you are interested in muscle mass and lower bodyfat. Then if makes sense to use a goal based on bf%.
Any idea of your your current bf%?

You probably need to start getting some carbs in, paleo diet is not a low carb diet. Its a low processed carbs and grain diet.

like i said the scales dont bother me just misinformation on my part its just the bit of belly ive left.

12% bf last week but the guy who did it put in my height at 182cm (im 176) so i dunno how reliable that is and hes hard to run into at gym hes there in morning im in college so i dont get gym until evening

my arms chest and shoulders are toned and have good muscles mass its just coming down from near 13 stone i knew would be hard lose the belly for good but i just feel like ive seen no progress in last month.

post up your current training program and weights lifted.

That weight for male is IMO too light.

Typical days eating would be useful also
