Why not go with all 3? I got Rooney in this week. Some badly needed Utd coverage

    A few reasons:

I'm wary of spending that much up front.

I was also listening to the game on PL live in the car today. The second half Rooney went wide right and AJ went up front according to the lads on it. Rooney was all over the place defending etc. didn't seem to be up near the Fulham goals. At one stage he even filled in at left back while Evra was injured.

I also still think Lukaku at 3 mil cheaper could be a better option.

That said, how did Oscar look today? I could downgrade him and upgrade Giroud.

With Everton playing C Palace next Lukaku would make more sense, you can see Arsenal having more of the ball next week against United

Another week when most will have a pretty high score.

61 once the bonus dust has settled. Michu, Dawson and Lukaku to play tomorrow.

EDIT: I'm just after gaining 25-30 points on EVERYONE in the top 7 of my cash league!!!

    What's your team like now?

I'm on 64 with nobody left to play.

66 with 10 glorious baps on the way and Michu and Lukaku to play!

Michu needs to do something spectacular tomorrow to stay in my team so lets see how that pans out! :pac:

I don't know if this has been mentioned already, but I found this really interesting. Under last season's bonus points system. Yaya Toure would have beaten Aguero to the 3 bonus.

Just realised that I might not need to make a transfer next week, never taught I'd see this happening. :D

54.4% of people have Ramsey and another 7000 are bringing him in today alone. Where will this madness end?

The only madness is people not having him and not having had him for weeks and months at this stage. Can't believe there is people in this thread, who care enough to visit this forum, but don't have him.

48 points at the minute before bps, 14 due to come in from the bench and Dawson, Michu and Lukaku to play tomorrow, Paul McShane came to my rescue

87 with Coleman to come. Left Rosenior on my bench with 9. Could have threatened the magical 100..

Have I misjudged the situation catastrophically badly? Yes. Should I have brought him in? Yes. Will he sustain this form over the course of the rest of the season? Highly doubtful. Is he still a good option? Yes.

Due to my stubbornness and belief that he would stop scoring I have suffered and continue to suffer and that's on me. Arsenal have a very tough period coming up and if he keeps scoring during that then I'll be the first to admit I was wrong but now is not the time to bring him in as far as I can see.

So I guess you'll have to believe that there are people or at least one person in this thread, that cares enough to visit the forum but does't have him. He's scored more in the last 6 months than he has in the last 6 years, I'm clinging to that. Perversely when everyone was complaining about him in general last season I though he was doing rather well :pac:

I'm on 70 with Coleman and Lukaku left. Should be seeing a few green arrows all going well.

Always fulfilling when you get a GW transfer right (Aguero in for Soldado, and captained).

I understand your thinking but he's not a 10 million player where rejigging is required, he's a bargain price so whether he loses form or whatever it's no big deal! Gone up 1.5 but still easily gettable for anyone :)

64 (-8) with Townsend, Ashley Williams and Michu to go tomorrow. AJ first sub and Turner did his job as 3rd sub :pac: Having taken the double hit I'm rather pleased to be where I am with the Welsh derby to come tomorrow.

55 with Coleman Dawson michu to play......

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,196 ✭✭✭MonkstownHoop

76 with Coleman, Barkley & Campbell to play

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,337 ✭✭✭G1032

65 with Coleman and Lukaku to play. The Ramsey I could really have done without but can't complain about the 8 point hit to get Aguero in

69, if only Benteke got one. I'm going to keep him over Lukaku though, Villa have some really handy fixtures coming up.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,131 ✭✭✭NabyLadistheman

68 (-8) happy with that, have Dawson & Coleman tomorrow. Happy enough now, main focus is to get rid of Mig, Coleman over the next few weeks

70 with coleman left, delighted with it

Ya you're right. I don't have him either and it has been an error of monumental proportions not getting him in. It'll cost me money at the end of the season no doubt but that's my loss. If he scores again at United I'll probably get him in for Lallana. I just never saw his form continuing for so long. And with Arsenal midfielders coming back from injury his game time might very well be reduced or his role become a little more defensive. But the horse has long bolted now and there is no real point crying about it anymore, even though I do!!!

83(-8) with Distin and Lukaku left.

Just what I needed, the chasing pack in my money league were beginning to breath down my neck. Very relieved my points hit paid off.

63 with Coleman, Dawson, Michu and Paulinho left. Pleased with that.

Made a mistake by going with Boruc over Myhill. Could be six points better off otherwise but I'm happy enough. Hopefully green arrows on the way.

+1, and I just bought him, and replaced Ozil. Stupid, and you can all now expect a lack of form from the Great Ramsey!
    Couldn't wait any longer.
