I don't know if this is discussed anywhere else in this forum, but anyways "Charity" races: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=512243748886471&set=a.381600848617429.1073741828.381588225285358&type=1&theater

Raised money for charity once and this sort of thing happened. Will never do it again. If you want to raise money for charity don't use mycharity.ie or any of that. Collect the money yourself and buy something that will have to be used for the charity or oversee some work that needs to be done and pay for it from the proceeds.

I dunno whether to put this in the rant or rave thread. It's annoying and fun at the same time.......Running Fianna Fáil candidates from my front door when they come looking for votes. I've just gotten rid of my 4th one already and not one candidate from any other party has called yet. But Fianna Fáil always have to be like the pesky insects!

Agree with you here but specifically the guys at the top.

"The house is that price because I paid X amount for the land back in the boom", I don't care what you paid for the land in the boom, that's your problem, the boom is over get real with your price.

Designers / Manufacturers of tracksuit bottoms. Fuppin muppets.

There are people out there with leg length of less than 32".:mad::mad:

Even tried the kids section except I 'd have to wear the colours of some soccer/rugby/gaa team.

This is starting to piss me off now.

Third day of no running. I'm back at work now but still not 100%.

I probably shouldn't run today, but will see later on ...

You should get back running first and then return to work!

I was going to mention the lanky streaks of misery that all track suits are designed for but decided not to be so childish. :p

There's 104 pages on this thread... lots of grumpy bollixes about so, and now I'm here, that's another one! :D

My gripe, apologies if it's been mentioned already, is path hoggers. I generally hop onto the road if I'm on a narrow path to give pedestrians room, especially elderly people. But I was running a few weeks back towards 4 teenagers across and thought to myself "they've seen me, one of them will move to the side a little", which would have been the blindingly obvious thing to do. None of them moved, forcing me at the last minute right to the edge of the path, nearly into oncoming traffic.

What is it about some pedestrians, thinking that runners somehow should be forced onto the road? When there's plenty of room on the path, I think it's really fcuking ignorant of people.:mad:

Reports of gang style shootings on the tv/radio.

Reporter: "a man was shot in the back while getting into his car. Residents say they are shocked"

    Cut to residents.

    Resident 1: "I'm shocked."
    Resident 2: "it's shocking."
Resident 3: "can't believe it, this is a quiet area."

Absolute drivel. I'm waiting for the day when a resident says, "he was an out and out cnut. An absolute scum bag, good riddance to him"

Phone is approaching its bitter end. No good deals at the moment because everyone is holding out for the Samsung Galaxy S5. Need it to hold out for a little while longer...

People who rinse cutlery and dishes under the tap and then proceed to leave them in the sink. WTF, there's a big empty dishwasher just beneath the sink. So either put them in there or wash them properly and put them up to dry !
