Aguero for me. I hope he justifies the 4 point hit it took to get him in.

    RVP

Hmmm I wonder who's going to win this poll, may I just point out that Aguero will be facing Turner who was rested midweek also. If that sways things either way :pac:

and we won our trophy back ;)

Anyway i usually dont captain midfielders but iv a feeling i might need to go with david silva my only city player. If not its rvp again, he's in goal scoring form and all my rivals got rid of him but i kept the faith and he finally looks to becoming good again.

If I still had RVP it would be him for sure. Massive differential potential if captained this week I think ......

Thinking Yaya as he's my only City coverage and I've no one from united.

4.3kWp South facing PV System. South Dublin

I'm not a City supporter. That song is always stuck in my head when I hear the name Kun Aguero from being in Manchester on the last day of the 2012 season.

Heard that song sung all day long across the City.

Ageuro, I think everyone who has him will captain him this week.

aguero aswell even though I think he will only get about 70 mins to keep him fresh for cska 3 days later.

Going with Suarez as Flamini is out injured for Arsenal so less defensive cover for them.

I don't have Aguero but he's the standout choice. Between Michu, Giroud and Suarez for my team.

+1 and I don't trust Arsenal's slow and error prone defence.

FPL golden rule: Form over fixtures

    Suarez (C) FTW!!

I'm thinking he might stay on unless City are romping it, which hopefully they will be.

City beat CSKA away so I don't think they've much to fear playing them at home. He could easily play Dzeko against them.

If he gets 90 its probably bad news as the game will be tight coming up to the last 20 mins. Lets hope thay are 3 or 4 up and sergio comes off to a standing ovation in preparation for collecting the match ball at the full time whistle.

I'm also going with Suarez. Can see Arsenal dominating the possession and Liverpool hitting on the counter. Hope I don't jinx it but I see goals in this one. I look for form from strikers and fixtures for defenders.

In fairness, as good an option as Aguero is, I don't blame people for captaining Suarez.

His returns are quickly turning him into this year's RVP and the Arsenal defence is anything but solid. The one blot on his copybook is that he doesn't take penalties.

He might not take them but he earns most of them, it's a risk free 3 points as opposed to risk that he might miss the penalty and get -2. I'd be interested to see how many penalties he's won in the last few seasons.

That's a fair point but in terms of bonus points, are goals not worth alot more than assists now?

So it'll effect him in that regard.

Should I take a 4 point hit to swap Rooney for Aguero & captain him?

City at home to Norwich looks to be a banker but Fulham are no great shakes & were beaten by Leicester the other night,Rooney could bag a couple especially with the talk that RVP could be rested due to a couple of niggles.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 738 ✭✭✭Gaillimh1976

Yaya, but only 'cos I can't afford Aguero

Fulham look fairly terrible at the moment. If it was me, I'm not sure I'd do it tbh. You've now missed out on two of Aguero's price rises so the third won't make much of a difference. And the more people talk up Aguero on here, the less I'm expecting from him. It always seems that whenever everyone is expecting a huge score from a player that they don't deliver.

I don't particularly rate Rooney in terms of this game but he did get a goal, assist and three bonus last week, is in decent form and playing one of the worst teams in the league, with a manager who isn't good at setting his teams up defensively.

Bought Aguero this week but I tend to have bad luck handing the captaincy straight to a new player...and I don't trust Pellegrini's selections! Still will probably captain him, but Suarez is very tempting also.

My current front 3 are Rooney,Suarez & Giroud who gave me a decent return last week.

Going to pick Giroud as captain now and not look again for the night.

Don't have Aguero in my team so obv can't pick him.

    Other choices could be Benteke/Suarez/Oscar/Silva/Ozil

Liverpool have been conceding so much though that I'll put my faith in Giroud!

So Aguero has 50%+ of the vote...I'm wondering how many of those voters actually have him?

    My Captain considerations were...

Ramsey, Lukaku, Giroud, Sturridge. Never considered Silva at all.
