Cleaning the jacks and taking out the rubbish, but it has to be done. She makes me dinner and washes the clothes so I have nothing to complain about!

I don't think I hate anything I do for her to be honest. My in-laws are lovely too.

Her xmas work do. The same meet and greet every year, the same small talk. On the plus side, there's always one or two decent folks there and it's always a posh venue with amazing food. We did the Dorchester one year! Also on the plus side, they didn't have one last year & hoping that will be the case this year

Sit at the table to eat dinner.....the f*cking table is in the kitchen, the TV is in the sitting room, she gets annoyed when I turn up the volume of the TV and start to angle mirrors so that I can watch the TV and hear it while sitting in the kitchen. She wants to 'converse' whatever the jaysus that is.

I once brought table into the sitting room, but had to move it back. Wench.

There's not much I wouldn't do for my OH and not much I mind doing either that'd warrant a complaint tbh.

However, due to a car accident she was involved in a little under 2 years ago, my OH broke both her arms. Awful for her, I know but because of this I had to 'become her nurse' if u like and one particular thing I disliked doing was wiping her arse. It was unbearable sometimes as I wasn't used to this obviously and didn't get used to it either. That said, more often than not it acted as an invitation and led to anal. Always a silver lining or a brown one

I'm not in a relationship at the moment, but I've always hated having to meet the parents of a squeeze. You are forced to make small talk and seem interested in these cretins who are silently judging you and making value assumptions.

Well, I wouldn't describe the in laws as cretins but I was very nervous about meeting them. That and the fact I could barely speak a word of their language

True, true. That said, to this day when we have our silly little arguements she mocks me, calling me the "arse wiping baby back nurse bitch/sh1tty fingers". makes it almost feel like it wasn't worth it

Comfort her after her mother upsets her / lets her down again. If it was up to me we'd simply cut her out of our lives but it's not my decision to make unfortunately.

On a lighter note, watch rubbish tv though I put the foot down about soap operas. If she wants to watch those, she can do it when I'm not there.
