A bit of advice i got from a disabled person years ago. He had a notice made up. "You Took my Parking Spot! Do you want my disability?"

Every time he found the disabled parking spot used by someone NOT displaying an appropriate sticker, he left them a copy.

Would would really well if it was covered in glue!

    Scumbags rob people, houses etc
Wouldn't call someone who parks in handicap spot a scumbag. Just an a55hole

That's true enough, if he was wearing sunglasses you couldn't tell if he was blind or not.

So, only people who have limited use of their legs are disabled?
    Interesting.

They're abused wholesale. Not sure what the criteria for getting the badge are but I thought it would be like the Primary Medical Cert i.e. Applicant must be wholly or almost wholly without use of one or both legs.

Very, very rarely see this person exiting or entering the car. If you're hearing impaired or whatever you don't need specific parking spots.

The idea is they're wide enough to open the door fully to get a chair out.

He would probably have a cane though.

If you have arthritis badly you qualify too, people really should read the conditions before mouthing off.

Lots of other reasons why walking long distances to the entrance might be difficult other than problems with your legs! They're not only about wheelchair access.

Blue Badge not displayed is the key. Not the wheelchair, cane or crutch. Some lung or heart conditions warrant a Blue Badge.

Tell the shops or management of the car-park and encourage them to patrol their disabled parking spots.

These spaces are for a whole range of disabilitys. They happen to have a wheel chair image on them but Im sure if it helps we can have the badges blown up to A3 size to include pace maker, ventilators and perhaps some image for MS

Parks car in disabled spot, puts on dark sunglasses and gets out of car with a white cane pretending to be blind.

Ha Ha Ha total and utter Fail... Blind person driving a car.

You can park there to pickup a disabled person. You just cant leave the car there.
