help!! Im a mid 20s female, height 5'3. After having my child 5 years ago I went from being 59/60kg (at my heaviest) to 53kg. Granted this was partly due to postnatal depression, not eating properly starving myself for days and then binging, as well as spending 2 hours in the gym every day. I have transformed my eating habits in the past 2 years but still have the same problem of binging on junk food particularly when Ive had a long day at work. I have a lot on my plate between my child, working full time in a high intensity job and studying part time. I am now 54kg and would consider my diet to be good/average. I have started running and doing weights and would ideally like to lose another stone. My typical diet would be :

Breakfast: black coffee/green tea although in work there is always sausage rolls/white toast/etc hanging around for our tea break and I can never resist even though I give myself a hard time for it afterwords.

Lunch: Chicken salad/chicken sandwich with yoghurt fruit or both. Green tea or black coffee.

Dinner: This is where the problem lies. On a good day I wouldnt be too hungry and would either have a chicken breast with wholegrain rice/salmon/green salad or just cereal/toast. However on a bad day Ill go the whole hog. Chips, pizza, chocolate anything that is to hand. I must add I always do a very healthy shop but come Wednesday I cant resist going to the shop.

I need a kick in the arse to help me stop this binging because its making me miserable. Being a small build and height any weight is very noticeable on me. Please help!! and dont go easy on me!! :P

I am shocked that you wish to lose another stone, making your ideal weight to be 7.5stone. You only weight 54kg, you are at your ideal weight if even a little under weight.
If you are binging it is because you are not eating enough of good food. Your body is hungry. Feed it, but not with pizza and choc. Try eggs, fish, veg etc. more protein.

Work on your self confidence and body image. Love yourself

At your height, you don't need to lose another stone. You're still keeping hold of the unhealthy bingeing so you need to work on that. You sound like you like good food. Nothing wrong with a treat but bingeing on rubbish isn't good for you physically or mentally. To be honest, you've done a lot of hard work already. Don't deprive yourself of a treat like chocolate or that but don't fill your boots on it. Learn to love filling up on fish, chicken, meat etc. It's just a change of mindset. I speak from experience, to a degree. Good luck with it :)
