I’m not sure if this has been done before but this is the best place I can think of to put it.
I’ve quite a few barred rocks that are getting plump and are nearly ready for the table but the cocks will have to go this week as they are starting to fight but what I want to know is does anyone here castrate their cocks, can it be done chemically or with some sort of burdizzo implement.
The French call them capon and feed them till they are well fit for the table

The chemical method doesn't sound ideal if you are planning to eat them.

I don't like the idea of the hormone thing either, what ever they are going to the table anyway
