I have no idea where this thread should go but since I saw it in Dublin I thought I'd start there... Does anyone have or use this Bopzy card thing? Is it essentially like a debit card or what? I can't figure out who pays for the service either, is there a charge for signing up or topping up or does the merchant cover all…

It seems to be more of a loyalty card like Boots Advantage, Easons Loyalty, Superquinn Rewards etc that you can also top-up & use as a payment method in participating stores.
