Hard Drive Docking Station Problems

My Hard Drive Docking Station (Icy Box IB-120StU3-WH) stopped working last week (mechanical problem with the on/off switch, which won't stay in the on position unless you push it constantly) and I ordered a new one which arrived today (same make and model).

Now I'm getting some problems with my old hard drives (Western Digital, Segate, Hitachi, different models, all 3TB).
All hard drives were formatted on the old docking station in Mac OS Extended (Journaled) Format and worked without problems in the past.
When I now put them in the new docking station and connect it to my MacBook Pro with Snow Leopard, I get the error message "The disk you inserted was not readable by this computer.". The Disk Utility shows 0 partitions for this drive.
When I put them into the old docking station (and keep pressing the on/off button), they can be read ok.
I also have an old 320GB drive lying around (from my old Windows days), formatted in NTFS with 2 partitions. This drive can be read without any problems in both old and new docking station.

Does anyone has any idea what I can do, to read my hard drives?
