It'll sweat the eek out of them if they weren't well enough seasoned. Hard to bate the rushes for weathering turf.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 417 ✭✭Cycling Dumbasses

Well seasoned after a good summer, rare as hens teeth those rushes down my way.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,305 ✭✭✭131spanner

Unreal summer alright, those two weeks in July were roasters.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 417 ✭✭Cycling Dumbasses

Nippy enough this morning. 8 degrees on the car at 8am whereas it was 12 degrees at the same time yesterday morning. We're getting into the the heart of Winter now.

I've had the opposite of rain. The heat has almost killed me. My tongue started to dry up and get withered. I attempted to wet my teeth, but it ended up with my tongue stuck to the Andean peak of my upper lip. The whole mouth area has dried out.

    To be back in Ireland.

Its not t-shirt weather. All those shivering stiff nippled fellas wandering around are just deluding themselves.

No! I'll leave that place to the Australians. Wretched spot. You'd never go there out of choice. As dreadful a country as I've had the misfortune to come across.

Tis not so much the cold I mind, it's the damp. Tis miserable altogether.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,305 ✭✭✭131spanner

You can wrap up to escape the cold, no escaping the damp alright. Constant drizzle.
