I am trying to be healtier, around once a month or so I buy a 2 kg bag of potatoes boil them, mash them and freeze them to have over the month. I was thinking of maybe using sweet potatoes instead or even just mixing normal mash and sweet potato mash, I have had sweet potato a couple of time before and thought they were quite nice, neve r had them mashed though I don't do massive portions of reg portaoes and to be fair I only have them once or twice a week.

Sweet potatoes are lower on the glycemic index so would be better for you than regular potatoe. Portion size is still very very important if you're trying to lose weight though.

Sweet potatoes are lovely mashed. I just bake one, mash it and add a sprinkle of cinnamon and a teaspoon of butter to it. Lovely. :)
