Dino's in Terenure (yes, from the Thin Lizzie song) sell 1 egg for 50 cent.

Yes, you can literally buy *one egg*

That's probably what I would order in fairness.

Beef curry, no veg, fried rice, chips.

    Only because I'm pure filthy.

Try get a calzone from Grillin at some point. Hilbillys are great, but Grillin Calzones are awesome. That's what it is called on their menu. Pricey, but worth it.

Double bacon cheese burger with a side of curry chips and a large milkshake ...mmm

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,389 ✭✭✭mattjack

I'd order the little cutie who works behind the counter , even if she stinks of vinegar and grease .

She could make snack boxes all the time for me .

Taco chips probably. Although a pizza with ham, bacon, chicken (it has to be small pieces of chicken) would go down well. Maybe a mcflurry if there's a mcdonalds near by. Can of cold club orange.

Really like the sound of cheesy potato pie. Don't know if my local place will do it.

Why not? I would much prefer a sausage to a rasher though - don't really see the whole rasher-love appeal.

I'm not sure what they sell in a chipper but I could go for fish and chips right now. Haven't had dinner yet....just a cuppa.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,901 ✭✭✭Howard Juneau

Chips, drenched in vinegar with a sprinkling of salt. A perfect 100% mince quarter pounder with a nice tomato relish & a little shredded lettuce & onion..........I hate you OP, I'm bloody hank!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 341 ✭✭Shout Dust

I really shouldn't have opened this thread, if I order something before 1am I'm suing the op

Never got the whole snack box appeal. Sure, you can end up with weird bits of chicken.

    Why?
I have not found that cut of meat outside of Ireland. I could mail order it, but mail-order meat seems weird. However,

    http://www.britishbacon.com/home/31-irish-breakfast-sampler-box.html

I have however decided that a full Irish Breakfast will be part of any wedding reception I am the primary victim of.

    What's a Calzone?
I keep getting the same one when I get 'em from the one place. It looks similar to this except has a more pizza like exterior. It's pretty much like a pizza except instead of seeing the toppings on top, they are inside. The one I get is described thusly:
    .

    Grillin Calzones

Folded pizza stuffed with donner meat, chicken tikka, ham, onion, peppers & cheese
(Anyone know if there is anywhere in Limerick that does such a thing? I'd like to know so I can order 'em when I'll be there and in the mood for one. I only had the chance to try 'em since moving to Cork, and never had looked for 'em before.)

"The little young who works in my local chipper looks great" .. are you still with me ?

"I'd like her to come and live in Mattjacks Hacienda " .. ok ?

"Even stinking of chip grease and vinegar she looks great " ... yes ?

"She serves a mean snack box" .

This is end of todays lesson.
