Odd, I've not had the car advertised anywhere.

Have every intention of doing the head gasket on it but I can't find a kit anywhere, nightmare to find any parts for it

    Nice car.
That's an Executive, one of the last of the Carina E.
They came with 2 litre petrol or 2litre diesel engines.

You have me totally lost. I didn't see a yellow golf.

On another note Drive in around SF car park. You'd never kmow what you might see.
No. I was saying I happened to see one in that carpark earlier on after I had initially complained that I never manage to catch any oldies in Grange unlike your goodself.

    Was it this one?

You sparked my memory a la Brian Lenihan "On mature recollection".

Possibly. Never got to see the reg, and didn't clock the rack, but there's hardly that many yellow mk2s around.

When I saw it I was thinking "was that the one posted on thread before", but I couldn't recall if it was you that posted it!!!

Anyway, it had a trailer attached at the time.

3 digit ZV reg, very early import. I'm importing an 89 at the moment, going with the year. Anyone know what it's up to? 6 digit for sure.

Anyone was in Carrick on Shannon yesterday? There was a a car that I think is a Messerschimitt unfortunately I couldn't take picture as I was driving.

Would you not get an 89 reg and be period correct as gack as they can look? ZV's are starting to look even worse to my eyes!

Know anybody in a low number county that you can do the initial registration to and then do a change of address?

EDIT: Just saw the "I'm going with the year"

    ---

More importantly, what are you bringing in?

ZV on a post-86 just isn't right. As stated I'll put an 89D plate on her, I was just wondering how many digits I'll have to try to squeeze onto a standard plate. On that subject, nearly impossible to get a vrt appointment at the minute. I ended up getting one second week in August in Kells.

    Damn right!

We need a new prefix soon. Or even several prefixes. Or turn the ZV into a suffix.

    What is the car?
