As posted in the "today I saw a classic forum" but worthy of a mention here too I think, as a working and almost everyday vehicle. Bought new in 1967 by the gent behind the wheel, and every intention of keeping it motoring for a while yet :)

That ice cream van appeared in Too old for the Road on RTE1 last week.
He doesn't have a pension, so is still driving his van & selling his ice cream!

Flickr is good if you want to keep a digital copy of your photos

Imgur and Flickr are good. I've used tinypic too, though they're owned by photo bucket so they might go the same way.

TBH T I avoided photo bucket from way back simply because on any of the longer standing forums I was on, so many of the older threads showed dead pic links and they were almost guaranteed to be Photobucket links(or tinypic, owned by PB, though they've never deleted any of mine to be fair). In the face of that could never quite understand folks' loyalty to that site.

Now other sites may now decide to follow PB down this blackmail rabbit hole(and IMHO blackmail it is), but I doubt it considering how the anger has mounted up on the interwebs over it. The other sites are getting the PB refugees.

I really dunno what the hell PB were thinking/smoking when they came up with this idea. If they had warned their customers and charged say 2 quid a month, then it might have gone over well, but no waring and what 400 quid a year and all your photos on lockdown? PB are now dead man walking. No way will new users sign up now and current users are busily trying to get their photos off PB and onto any other site. Even if they dial back on this, nobody will ever trust them again. This was company suicide. Unreal.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

This has been an issue on another forum I use. I've downloaded all my images from photobucket, but some forum links from old posts have been lost.
I've been using Post Image lately.
When uploading multiple photos it gives a list of IMG codes, rather than selecting them one by one which is a handy feature.

Here is a how to guide for Post Image from the other forum, I've found it very easy to use.

    First, visit PostImage.io

    Capture_1.png

If you are new to the site, select 'Sign up' at the top right corner, if not, then log in.

    Capture5.png

Select the button that says 'Choose Images'

Browse for where the desired picture(s) is hiding, and press Open

    Capture_4.png

In the list of links below the picture, locate the 'Hotlink for Forum' option, then click on the box at the far end of the text, highlighted in the above image.

Thats all! Simply paste the text into your forum post where you desire the image to be shown.

Minor spotted in Roundwood, Bluebird and Landrover in Rathdrum.

I posted about my parent's T4 camper last week. It failed its DOE a few days ago on a coil spring and missing mudflap(!) - €100 saw it right + €400 for new tyres. Not bad considering it hadn't turned a wheel in five years until recently. My brother and I took it on a tour of Wicklow over the weekend. Basically from north county Dublin, through the mountains, Sally's gap, Roundwood, Glendalough and on to Rathdrum..avoiding as much motorway as possible. 2.7 tonnes and 77 bhp of n/a diesel made for some interesting moments at hills..but it was great fun.

Nice little Micra near Cavan town today. Elderly lady driving it, when I passed I was surprised to see it was a van model.
A few battle scars, but still looking pretty good.
