    Two friends of mine are on a blind date right this minute (I organised it). I can't wait to hear how they get on. :)

    Have you ever set up a blind date? What was the outcome?

    Ever been on one? How did it go?

    my best friend organised a date with her other best friend and we got on so badly, I stopped talking to my former best friend because only a dick would put me in a room with that ****er...


    anyway... i'm sure they will have a great time!

    I was going to go on one ...... the guy (and my friend Angie who was coming with him) never showed up until 3 hours later.
    By that time I had my nightgown on and was tucked up in bed with a good book
    and I never even answered the door when they knocked. Feckers.

    I went on a blind date once, it was awful. She seemed very nervous and was falling over her words, so I started joking around with her trying to make her feel better.

    Turned out she had a speech impediment. Never again.

    I'd hate to go on a blind date. Even going on a regular first date, I usually arrive drunk.

    It would be pretty cool to go on one. I think i would scare the woman away though or when i turn up to meet her and she sees me she pretends that she is not the girl i am supposed to meet (i look like a flower pot)

    I went on one once, years ago. It was great fun. I'd definitely do it again - except herself would put my nuts through the pasta machine.

    I went in one a few years ago. It was organised by my friend and the guy's housemate who both worked together. Neither of them actually knew both of us, if you know what I mean.

    Anyway, the date itself went grand and we ended up going out for a little while. In that little while I found out he was an alcoholic, he had slept with some very dodgy characters and he was still mad about his ex. Found that out when he dumped me to get back with her. Bullet dodged for me :D

    I actually did go on a blind date once. Flew to Scotland to meet a girl a friend sort of knew. It was absolutely brilliant. All of the sex. Ended up going out for a year to boot.

    Nope, never been on one. Hopefully won't be either. I make ordinary interactions awkward, never mind alienating the blind date and whoever organised it.
