I was going to go on one ...... the guy (and my friend Angie who was coming with him) never showed up until 3 hours later.
By that time I had my nightgown on and was tucked up in bed with a good book

I went on a blind date once, it was awful. She seemed very nervous and was falling over her words, so I started joking around with her trying to make her feel better.

Turned out she had a speech impediment. Never again.

I went in one a few years ago. It was organised by my friend and the guy's housemate who both worked together. Neither of them actually knew both of us, if you know what I mean.

Anyway, the date itself went grand and we ended up going out for a little while. In that little while I found out he was an alcoholic, he had slept with some very dodgy characters and he was still mad about his ex. Found that out when he dumped me to get back with her. Bullet dodged for me

I actually did go on a blind date once. Flew to Scotland to meet a girl a friend sort of knew. It was absolutely brilliant. All of the sex. Ended up going out for a year to boot.

Went on one myself many, many moons ago (I had just turned 19). Just to be on the safe side, I bought condoms in a chemist that afternoon. Guess who served me? My blind date. It was a very short date.....true story, unfortunately for me.
