    300 million will not buy next election. You can already see TD's in effecte area's starting to voice concerns. Not sure if Government will have guts to sell it with conditions re slots which would be the right decision. By being fast it could maybe get another 10c/share however is kicking the can down the road with expert group

    I’m fully in agreement that many people, TDs included will voice concerns and will rightly point out that the risks outweigh the benefits, however I also fully expect the govt to grab what’s on the table and run

    It is cringing to have to listen to all the commentating by various Parties incl Gov Ministers setting up special advisory this and that. With almost 75% of the company shares in private ownership, it's a bit late to be worrying about HR slots, connectivity, Jobs etc etc etc.

    Where these aspects not considered before the company was privatised? It's too little too late now and it seems the risks certainly outweigh the obvious short term paltry sum of € 300mio.

    When they're gone (HR slots), they'll be gone, gone and why? :(
