    "I'd highly recommend....etc".

As if they've carried out a recent price comparison, run quality assurance checks on their goods and services and run Garda checks on all new employees etc.

I'm not sure that's a cliché as such or that, cliché or not, I get your point.

The words "highly recommend" seem to me to work perfectly as a method of communicating that something is highly recommended.

Maybe I'm missing something. It's early yet.

"The most vulnerable in society", a group which changes several times daily around budget time depending on which highly paid spokesorgan is advocating on behalf of a special pleading.

In my opinion or IMO at the end of something. Well obviously, you just wrote a ten paragraph rant on it, I assumed it was your opinion. I hardly thought you were going to guess my opinion and then offer it to me in an attempt to confuse me.

Thankfully you dont hear it as much now but what used to really grate on me was when someone would see you having a pint/buying a sandwich/basically doing anything that was in any way enjoyable and going "no recession here."

Sticking with the cliche term, "Approved by mums" in adverts dealing with children. The father must be dead or ran off with his floozy and abandoned the family. :pac:

In the case of a well written post, this is an acceptance from the poster that what he has written is not fact, and indeed he might not be able to provide links to prove his opinions are true.

What have men got to do with children? ;)

The man will be either watching the football, drinking beer, hanging out with 'the lads' or doing something with cars.

Or any combination of the above.

At the end of the day I think that all cliches are just cliche and everyone should shoulder the burden because statistically speaking we all have our part to play but it's looking like we've turned a corner and we're right back where we started at...going forward.

We have our own proposals to bring to the table which would target the elite in society, which the people on the door steps are crying out for and you lot never did anything about when you were in power.
