I am looking for some advice from someone in the know. I drive a company car for my job long distances. I recently started with a new company and I want to know where I stand with work hours.

How much driving time should be taken into your own time ie if my work day/contract says I start at 8 and finish at 5, does that mean I leave home at 8 and get home at 5 or do I leave the location I am in to drive home at this time?

Any advice is welcome!
