Reaper 0 -20 The Jacks (Reaper no show)
    Rath Rugby 42-17 Galway
    Fingal 54-19 Couch Potatoes

CAlling Reaper, Reaper to the fixture list!! Another no show from Reaper puts the The Jacks firmly in control of Div 3 on 22 points
Gideons thrash newcastle to sit nicely in 2nd and Fingal hand out the second of 3 thrashings this week to plonk themselves in 4rd
Rath Rugby handed out the thrid to Galway French to sit in 5th place (albeit 8 points off top already)

With Reaper all but relegated already, It looks like it will be a 3 way fight to stay out of the last place. Couch Potatos are in possesion of 7th place at the minute still in touching distance of Galway and Newcastle ahead of them...for now!!

Ill hopefully get around to Div 2 this week. Sorry for slowness!

    Edit...and here it is:

    2hzjrea.jpg

ELAT, Killarney and Dreados leading the way with ELAT and Killarney facing off this week in what should be a cracker.

what is also interesting is that Dread0s have only a +19 point difference, of their 3 actual wins (1 was a non-acceptance) the loser has gotten a LBP in 2. So Dread0s displaying a good ability to win tight games. Ladyboys will be hoping to come out the right side of a Dread0s game this week in order to crack the top 3.

Elsewhere FRF, have won 3 on the bounce to begin a rise up through the table. MWSAG will be hoping to kick start their boards season (and stop FRF's rise) with a mid table clash this week. Also interesting that FRF are playing 3 games in 4 days against teams in this division (Dread0s in the cup, MWSAG on saturday)

The situation is getting more and more precipitous for Yermen and WW. They need to start winning games and dragging other teams down if they are to avoid the drop.

Yeah I'm really in trouble this season. I was content with a mediocre season at the start, call it a "transition" phase :pac: but wasn't expecting to get railed as much as I am. Lost a really silly league game in my normal league which might eff me up later (no danger of relegation there, but always want to be there or there abouts in the play-offs - hoping to be second best team in my league by next season), but boards league especially not going so good.

Granted I'm not spending nearly as much time as I was in prepairing for games (college finals so prett much play default), but I don't know if it's a combination of massively ageing squad which I will be replacing only next season, tiny squad size (a few salary savers) but most of all I think I'm really really bad at the new tactics! :D Just can't seem to get them right! - not to take away from my oppenents who are just doing a better job than me also at the moment! If it could happen in the game, I fear my job might be on the line! :o

Mid way point of the Season:

    1zyemtk.jpg

ELAT won the table top battle with Killarney in week 6 to pull away from the pack. But then in a twist that only happens in the boards league, Wandering Wanderers came out and defeated ELAT in week 7. That result gave WW more hope of survival (not good from a MWSAG point of view!) while eliminating ELAT's cushion at the top. The Top 4 are separated by 2 points, and the top 3 are all within 6 of each other on points difference too! tight league.

EDIT: Ladyboys should have an extra TBP, putting them top. I have it in my excel file and it will be reflected in the next table update.

this league is crazy tight. 4points seperates 1st & 5th.

Also I think Ladyboys should have another try bonus point (thus making them top). they got one vs FRF wk 5 when they lost that i guess you have ommitted

    Reaper RFC | 7 | 0 | 0 | 7 | 0 | 140 | -140 | 0 | 0 | -14 | -14 |

    Galway French 17-29 Gideons
Reaper 0-20 Newcastle (Reaper no show)
    Couch potatoes 22-27 The Jacks
    Fingal Physicians 10-17 Rath Rugby

The Jacks continued their winning ways with a 5 point winning margin over Couch potatoes. The loss keeps Couch Potatoes in the relegation danger zone.
Another Reaper no show gives the 5 points to Newcastle
Gideons kept up the pressure at the top with a good win away to Galway French
And Fingal picked up a losing bonus point at home in their loss to 3rd place Rath.

So half way through the season and 1st & 2nd are putting some distance between them and the rest of the league.
Reaper are all but relegated already due to no shows. The other relegation place is looking at being a 3 way scrap between Newcastle, Couch Potatoes and Galway French.

Sorry for the lack of updates guys.

    Division I

    W D L PF PA PD B (L) B (T) Points Penalty

    Leinster Racoons 7 4 3 203 120 83 1 4 21

Some big wins, and everyone has a win, people beating each other and some surprising results. Mauling bear awoke during the first half to dish out some awful poundings to teams!!

Any chance of a Division II table floating about?

Apologies for the delay in putting this up. RL is starting to catch up on me

    Div 3 | p | w | d | l | PF | PA | pd | B(L) | B(T) | PTS | Penalty
    The Jacks | 8 | 7 | 1 | 0 | 244 | 68 | 176 | 0 | 5 | 35 | 0 |

    Fingal Physicians | 8 | 4 | 1 | 3 | 211 | 135 | 76 | 1 | 4 | 23 | 0 |
    Galway French | 8 | 3 | 0 | 5 | 149 | 232 | -83 | 0 | 3 | 15 | 0 |
    Newcastle West | 8 | 3 | 0 | 5 | 145 | 260 | -115 | 1 | 2 | 15 | 0 |
    Couch Potatoes | 8 | 2 | 0 | 6 | 177 | 216 | -39 | 3 | 2 | 13 | 0 |
    Reaper RFC | 8 | 0 | 0 | 8 | 0 | 160 | -160 | 0 | 0 | -16 | -16 |

    Gideons 3-17 The Jacks
    Galway F 20-0 Reaper (walkover)
    Couch Potatoes 18-24 Rath Rugby
    Fingal 48-6 Newcastle W

The Jacks continue their winning ways with a hard fought 17-3 win over Gideons. This was the top of the table game that Gideons had to win. Losing it means they are now 7 points adrift and 3rd are closing fast!
Another no show from Reaper this week gives the 5 points to Galway French
Rath beat Couch Potatoes to close the gap to 2nd to 1 point.
Fingal hammer Newcastle W to keep the bottom as you were with only 2 points seperating 7th and 5th.
