Running routes in the Ballina/Killaloe area

Hi all, I am relatively new to running and am trying to get my distance up and as such would like to know of any routes around the Ballina/Killaloe area that would be around the 8km/10km mark! I have tried mapmyrun but with no real look. Any suggestions would be greatly welcome.

Best bet would be to use mapmyrun and plot your own route. That's what I did when I lived in an area that didn't have route suggestions to the distance I wanted.

You could run the routes from the Brian Boru triathlon starting in twomilegate. There is 6km and 10km routes

Thanks for the tips guys! I may try the 10km route from the Brian Boru triathlon in a few weeks....the start uphill should be a nice challenge
