The Broncos against the Jags are tying the record for the largest points spread in a game +28.

One question for the weekend - will the Broncos beat the single game scoring record since the merger of 62 points?

In the last 3 weeks the Jags have given up
45 V Seattle
37 V the Colts
34 V the Rams

The Denver offence is potent and could crank up the points at Mile High on Sunday.

My guess is that if the Broncos are up by 3 TDs at half-time Manning will sit out the second half and Osweiler will get to run the offence.

I was thinking the same until the commentators pointed out that one of the DT is a 260 pound Defensive end having to cover at DT and the other is a guy who has player very little in the last 3 years. Jacobs weighs more than one of them and that is the side they were running to.

Who ever suggested anything remotely like that? Yes there was an argument that he was borderline Elite at one period but he's been awful the past 2 seasons. I think it's pretty obvious at this period that the guy is not elite but at the same time there was a period where he was playing awesome and you could of argued that he was a top 5 QB.

I don't remember anyone ever suggesting that he was the better Manning. I don't think anyone was that daft.

I'd have said he's generally a solid top 10 or so qb but suffers from inconsistency. No comparison to Peyton, who is pretty much a genius.

Edit: no comparison to Brady either. Winning a superbowl doesn't change that.
