Windows 8. 32bit to 64bit

Hi guys,

Just upgraded my PC, and used my copy of W8 to get it up and running.

The new system is a 64bit, so I need to find the best place and way of getting one.

I've tried out a few methods, such as downloading W8 again and re-installing it with a fresh wipe, but it's still showing it as a 32bit.

What's the easiest method to go about this?

I think it will only go from 64bit to 64bit

you could just stick 64 bit win7 on it and then upgrade

The problem is that the OP only has the 32 bit version and needs the disc for the 64 bit version before they can do anything (not even sure the keys would be the same). Anyway OP there are two disks for Windows 7 one has the 32 bit software the other has the 64 bit software and you don't have it.

Yes, the license is valid for both x86 and x64.
