I was a wee bit surprised to see Juan as a favorite here. Clear enough favourite too. I think Bradley's speed is the key here.

Juan needs an aggressive fighter that is a wee bit reckless. Bradley' aggressive, but very resourceful and clever. He notices that he's been countered and you can bet he changes to fix.

I am going with Bradley via close but deserved decision.

I watched the 24/7 episode last week and Bradley openly admitted that his speech was slurred for two months after his last fight. His last two fights have been very tough on him so surely that works in Marquez favour. I fancy Marquez UD but its really a 50/50 fight.

I heard that about the speech. That is really is alarming. I hope that Bradley has been thoroughly checked over and declared fit to fight. What Bradley was saying was quite scary. Bradely's face also appeared to be quite puffed and swollen during the face off with Juan Marquez when they were sitting at the table with Kellerman

i fancy Marquez to knock Bradley out in and around the 8th to 10th round

i wouldnt even be surprised to see Bradley lead on the judges scorecard but i fully expect Dinamita to spark Bradley. He's too precise and powerful for Bradley.

But it should be an interesting fight, one im certainly looking forward to thats for sure

Juan for me hasn't looked all that good since his commanding win against Katsidis. Sure he scored a KO win over Manny, but that was one perfect punch. If anything Manny was ahead and looking good in the fight, and looking more comfortable in fight IV compared to fight III. Juan for me has slowed down since the Katsidis win. Yes, timing is so important, but when the speed and reflexes decline then the timing also is disrupted and affected. I believe that Juan's speed and reflexes have declined.

Marquez made what I thought was a pretty surprising confession there saying he doesn't think he'll be able to knock Bradley out. Clearly a lot of mutual respect there.

Yeah i was very surprised to hear him say that, was also surprised and rather worried to hear Bradley talk about the extent of the damage suffered from his last fight, hope everything is 100% right, not a good sign if 2 months after a fight your speech is still slurring, I keep going back and forth in this one, First i'm thinking Bradley's youth and work rate and jab will win it for him, but then i'm thinking JMM experience and ring craft will do it, added to the fact how tough Bradley last fight was, damn it's not one i'll be betting on, 50/ 50 fight if i ever saw one

I'm actually intrigued by this fight, as I have absolutely now idea how it's going to go.

Like Walshb said, I thought Marquez looked pretty poor in the Pacquiao fight until he landed that once-in-a-lifetime punch. Actually, it's the only time in their fights where Pac actually looked totally in charge (obviously bar the first round of the first fight). He was well on his way to stopping JMM, catching him more easily than I've ever seen before, then...

As for Bradley, he has never really had easy fights. He dosn't have the big punch to cut fights short, so, many of his fights have been tough distance affairs. Then there was Provodnikov! He was lucky not to have been KO'd a number of times, but of course he showed his incredible heart yet again. However, he has to have suffered some after-effects.

This always would have been a good fight and it could well yet turn out that way, but whether that's because they are both still in good nick, or cos they're both equally f*cked, I'm not sure. It could even end up with one beating the other well as he's not as far gone as we thought or the other is even farther gone. I'm not sure, but I can't wait to see.

Very much looking forward to this one. This time last year I would have been reasonably confident in a Bradley UD for the obvious stylistic reasons but after that Provodnikov fight I'm not so sure. He took a ridiculous amount of punishment in that fight and I'd be very concerned about what condition he's in. Whether sparring Matthysse was a legitimate attempt to determine his punch resistance or an attempt to bluff Marquez I'm not sure but it's clearly an issue that could raise its head.

The really worrying thing is what Teddy Atlas talked about after that fight, that having watched Ruslan several times on FNF he never looked like a particularly big puncher. Against Bradley, he looked like he could hit like a mule. The suspicion was that taking the weight off after the Pacquaio fight (where he was pretty depressed and ballooned in weight by all accounts) took a lot out of him and maybe too much. Hopefully he'll be fine but time will tell.

JMM for his part is training for speed according to his fitness guru Heredia but as has been mentioned he clearly looks to be slowing down and the task of pursuing and engaging Bradley may be tougher now than ever before. I think he was such a stationary target against Pacquaio because he felt that's what he had to do, engage more and take his chances in trades. Whether he can recover some mobility and take control of the pace of this fight is a big question. I'm not convinced. If Bradley's disciplined which he should be and his punch resistance isn't shot then he holds most of the aces. It mightn't be pretty but I'd fancy him to get over the line.

My money is on Bradley by decision. It will be a tough night but he has the skills, stamina and intelligence to get the job done. Most importantly he has a style JMM won't like. I'm surprised at how big an underdog the bookie's have him. People have mentioned his punch resistance being shot and that's the only way I see him losing this fight.

Been really great listening to the two fighters talk about the fight and each other. Two professional athletes talking up a competition, rather than two petulant children talking each other down.

A 40 yr old. Who has the body of a 24 yr old and whos reflexes have not got worse. Against a Man Who got one of the Worst decisions iv ever seen not that long ago. So this has dodgy wrote all over it.

That's a bit of a stretch. Juan's body was never sculpted or "young." He's not just a 40 year old. He's a 40 year old dedicated athlete. And his reflexes have slowed.

Marquez should do the business tonight. Bradley got a joke of a decision against Pacquiao and Marquez is just a class above Bradley.

    Should be a good fight.

Agree with this, He looked like PAC was going to finish him before he landed his thunderous right hand.

Will Bradley resist the temptation to mix it up?

Isn't he meant to be fighting for a world title in his second fight? Against the winner of Salido and Cruz in January.

He was in terrible shape, looked gased after the first rd. Seanie done it nicely, but in fairness he couldn't miss.

    That was impressive!!

On his bloody debut. To stop such a decent quality opponent is making a statement.

I absolutely love his upperbody movement, even more than his footwork, which is brilliant.

Lomachenko would beat Salido now. Good chance for a world title in his second fight if that's what they go for.
