Because Clare manager Davy Fitzgerald and 'hat-trick hero' Shane O'Donnell will be looking suitably smug as they flaunt the Liam McCarthy cup!

    Plus music from Nathan Carter.

    When is Graham Norton back?

    Tomorrow, 9.35pm, RTE Uno!

    UPDATEH (Thanks Skid):

    Laura Whitmore

Angie Benhaffaf and her twin boys Hassan and Hussein

    Pat Donnellan

    Music from Eimear Quinn

And the big one...drum roll, please! The brand new 'Voice Of Ireland' judge will be revealed exclusively on tonight's show!

    Mystery-Person.jpg

    I bet it's Sinitta.

And Twitter is currently going into meltdown with speculation that Sinead O'Connor will appear to give young Miley more telling-off!

Great. We can look forward to yet more score-settling and moaning from Davy in his inimitable chip-on-the-shoulder way. I can't wait.

So he's talking to a couple of household pets and some lad from a boyband I've never heard of - I'll give it a miss.

Apparently he is the biggest star currently in Country and Irish music scene

I thought that was Daniel O'Donnell, who I did hear of. If this Nathan Carter was so big, how come few have heard of him?

He had a number 1 album a bit back in the Irish charts

I checked him out and he is rather hit and miss. The Wagon Wheel song is good but ones like The Dancer are like a C&W take on Westlife and Boyzone. I guess Tubridy could introduce him to Louis Walsh!!

It has been a fantastic few days in Clare since the Liam McCarthy Cup arrived in the county! We're all proud of what the team have achieved and there is huge credit due to Davy Fitz but he needs to drop the victim complex and it's time to shrug off the chip that he has on his shoulder. If he doesn't, he might be this week's misery item :(

I'm looking forward to seeing young Shane O'Donnell, I think he could be the next DJ Carey.

I'd normally run screaming from Country and and Irish music (the type they play on the Showcase channel on Sky) but Nathan Carter is a decent enough singer.

I suspect there are a lot of singers performing Country music because they can make a good living from it, not because it's their favourite genre (I'm not saying that's why Nathan Carter is in Country, but there is a huge market for it).

It was posted on a separate thread, but in case you missed it you can apply for tickets for the Toy Show now

    http://www.rte.ie/tv/latelate/ticketstoyshow.html (apply before Nov 11th)

Separately, if you know a talented young performer who you think would be great on the Toy show, you have until October 9th to apply

    http://www.rte.ie/tv/latelate/
The Late Late Toy Show 2013
This year "The Late Late Toy Show" will take place live in RTÉ on the 29th Nov, and so the search begins for Ireland's most talented young performers to take part in the show.

Singing, dancing, telling jokes, doing magic tricks or playing a musical instrument .... it doesn't matter what it is - we'd love to hear from you.

Whether you're on your own or part of group send us a DVD or USB Stick containing your performance to.....

    Late Late Toy Show
    PO Box 170,
    RTE,
    Dublin 4.

Please don't send us anything you want back. The closing date for entries is Wednesday 9th October so get cracking as you don't have much time. We can't be held responsible if those meanies on the Boards TV Forum LLS thread criticise your child. They're only jealous.

*Please note that we cannot take submissions via email
*Please note that should you be selected to attend auditions in RTE you agree to do so at your own expense

I'm expecting Eamon Dunphy to be on the LLS/SNS this weekend or next to plug his auto-biography. I hope he goes with Brendan O'Connor.

Nicky Byrne and Finbarr Furey are long overdue for some reason? And Brian O'Driscoll seems to have cancelled his appearance!!

Also on the show tonight -

Angie Benhaffaf and her twin boys Hassan and Hussein who were born conjoined but underwent successful surgery to separate them

TV Presenter Laura Whitmore (who was a guest on the LLS barely six months ago)

Some LLS nostalgia - a clip from the 1983 Late Late Fashion Awards.

More 80s than Glenroe, the Rubix cube or taping songs off the Radio - it's like an homage to Joan Collins in Dynasty

I'll only remember Laura Whitmore from her interview with Saturday Night with Miriam talking about her pals in London about two years ago.

I hope she will talk about something else this time round.

I didn't see the match at all last Saturday but Clare still did a great result on the day. It would be interesting to see what Davy Fitz and the lads from his hurling team are like.

As for Nathan Carter; I've never heard of him!

    Ah well.

Another poor show by the looks of it. Why couldn't they have gotten Tom Vaughn Lawlor this week since he couldn't have been on last week?

I'm sure Davy Fitz, etc. will only be on for a few minutes. That was a great match last weekend.

Laura Whitmore? Never heard of her. The Voice of Ireland? The usual Tubridy fare we have come to love!! Baile an Salsa and Nathan Carter have never heard of until this week but whether they are good or bad, they will only be on around 5 minutes doing their song.

I think somehow I will tune out around half way through this show and watch series 3 of Love/Hate instead to get ready for Sunday.

the (formerly) conjoined twins - a nice story and all, but does it have to be on every year?

is there a year planner somewhere with their photos, a photo of john joe, crystal swing and a few other annual guests in the ..erm... 'research' dept??

Seriously, is it the same twins that were on maybe two or three times already? Pathetic. Not them, the Late Late.

Let's be honest...up to a few hours ago, tonight's line-up was hardly glittering - even by regular LLS standards. I predict 'car-crashy' tv from Miss O'Connor.
