Boards Motor forum car sticker design competition - this ends at Friday midnight

As seen in this thread started by Ded_Zebra.
The Powers has given us ok to create a sticker for cars but will keep rights to final say.

You can submit pretty much any design you like that would suit as a sticker.
You can submit more than one design.
When posting an image here, please don't make your added image too large, resize it so it doesn't warp the page.
Try to keep thread clean from too much chat. Feel free to chat away in the above linked thread.
If you like a design thank the post(s) - the top designs will go through to a final round.
Don't shoot other's designs down, constructive critique is welcome but keep things civil.

I'm sticking this for a couple days to get traction.

Colour should be "boards blue" really, this blue colour is just from MS paint
It's intended to be a round sticker.

I got a PM so best explain. The number 47 is a reference to Motors forum. Someone else came up with the idea but I thinks it's great. Subtle but distinct.

I just did mine in paint, but the sticker is intended to have the boards blue colour.

Hello all.

I had an idea for a design that I thought I may as well share, but it'll need fixing by someone with some actual photoshop skill as opposed to me who's still using Paint Shop Pro 7 from 2001.

The subtle 47 is cool, I think so far I prefer the 47 circled, with honorable mentions to the red d red i one :P

I liked the caption that Biko had in the design that he put in the other thread "Now you're Drivin' " Nice nod towards Boards without being too obvious

When we get it finalised I promise that there will be one on the DIT formula student car

Keep it simple in my opinion. Doing too much only cheapens it. Most of the most popular decals are simplistic to the extreme. The Nurburgring sticker, while probably overused at this stage, and held in contempt because of it, is very simple and that's why it works.

Anyways, my submission for what it's worth.

Hope we have lots off time on this VERY IMPORTANT project...... Give every one a chance, even a drawing that can be redone professionally should be accepted.......

Bumper sticker would be less popular than a window decal imo

I'd buy two (or however many i need) of the window decals but would never stick a sticker onto the bumper

It will have a clear backing in reality and only the lettering will transfer to your window.

I think that looks good, but I would change the Forum.47 to F47 and remove the boards.ie. Maybe put it ont he boards logo.

Let's make it this Friday at midnight. That should be plenty time even for people that doesn't visit the forum often.

Top 3 designs will be sent to the powers with the most thanked design as our main choice and 2 backup designs.
Once a design is chosen the work with sourcing and paying for the stickers start.

That is the only way I will have this sort of thing on my car. No decals, no stickers. There's never been one that didn't grate after a couple of days.
