No signal from Saorview box

Bought an Alba Saorview box and internal aerial from a seller on donedeal. Set it up last night and worked perfectly with no tuning etc needed.

Today, I'm just getting a 'No Signal' message on the TV

I've tried both HDMI 1 and 2 inputs and have confirmed the TV is set to the correct TV input channel. Also tried swapping the HDMI cable but no luck.

Anyone any ideas what else I could try/test? Thanks.

Try using a different hdmi cable as the one that came with the box is probably faulty.

Is the 'No Signal' message from the tv, indicating no signal on the HDMI input or, is it from the Saorview box, indicating lack of signal from the aerial?

Your local transmitter could be down for maintenance, do a retune again this evening.

Got it working using a SCART cable instead.

I did try a second HDMI cable but it still wouldn't work.

    Thanks for the responses.

Scart won't give you HD pictures.

Presumably you are sure your tv's own tuner doesn't work with Saorview? What's the make & model?

Try to buy a new HDMI lead as @Peter Rhea said scart won't give you HD Quality !
