Cavan have forfeited today's game in Celbridge. As Finglas lost 4.5-1.5 to Cavan, I think that now means Finglas are entitled to challenge Celbridge to a play off if (as entirely possible) Celbridge end in tenth, 4.5 points or fewer ahead of Finglas.

League table is -
Pos	Team MP	GW	GD	GL	Def	Pts
1	Ballinasloe	9	34	12	8	0	40
2	Blanchardstown	9	33	10	11	0	38
3	Dún Laoghaire	9	33	8	13	1	36
4	Elm Mount	9	24	11	19	0	29 1/2
5	St Benildus	9	24	9	21	0	28 1/2
6	Curragh 9	21	13	20	0	27 1/2
7	Inchicore	9	23	9	22	0	27 1/2
8	Bray/Greystones	9	20	8	26	0	24
9	Celbridge	9	17	10	27	0	22
10	Phibsboro	9	15	12	27	0	21
11	Finglas 9	15	7	32	0	18 1/2
12	Cavan 9	8	5	41	0	10 1/2

And as I understand the rules, Finglas would be able to challenge Celbridge to a relegation play-off if the gap remains the same after round 11.

Dún Laoghaire 3-3 Blanchardstown.

Blanch look home and hosed as they have Cavan in the last round. Ballinasloe need six points from their last two games - against Elm Mount and Bray - to join them in the Ennis next season.

League table on the main website should be updated later today.

Benildus 2½-3½ Bray.

Bray have had a very good second half of the season.

According to the results posted here http://www.leinsterchess.com/lcu1314/div4/match60.htm ,
one of the Curragh players, Leo Talbot, played on both top boards... or did he?
