How are you watching the finale?

Just curious to see a breakdown of when and how people will watch the finale. Will you stay up to watch it as it airs, wait for Netflix to put up a high-quality version or watch it in a public place with other fans?

I'll be staying up, despite terrible American ads.

Mod: I'll be reviewing this thread tomorrow after I've watched the finale. Anyone requesting or posting streams will get an infraction.

Have been watching them monday evening, think I'll stay up on Sunday to watch it as soon as it comes onto Netflix to avoid any one liner spoiler headlines.

What time do episodes usually appear on Netflix?

I'm watching it at a public screening.
I am going to have to avoid the internet all day at work. If someone spoils it on me revenge will be mine!!

    Typical Monday evening so? :pac:

Staying up, few cans and probably rewatch it when a torrent is up.

Streaming issues very rare on Netflix, and if you've good Internet the picture quality will be better than any downloaded versions.

Is this episode longer than usual anyone know?

Same as granite state, so approximately 53-55 minutes + ads depending on how you watch it.

Ill be heading home from work early, get a bowl of Maltesers and some soft drinks, download it and hit go and watch the best tv show I have seen in recent years ride out of my life. Beyond excited and also sad..

We've an 8Mb connection here shared to my brothers house too so quality can drop.

Monday evening and I'm just gonna have to completely disconnect myself from the internet all monday, surely the whole web will be one massive spoiler :pac:

Netflix Monday night. This is after watching Ep 14 and 15 tomorrow.

Got spoiled on me last week, so 6.45am this Monday to avoid any repeat!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,157 ✭✭✭Gru

I'm sure it's been mentioned in other threads before but what time will Netflix have the episode. I've been watching monday evenings on netflix thus far but I'm worried spoilers will be rampant once people know how it really ends.

Is it likely to be up by 6 am?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,320 ✭✭✭Chet T16

    9am at the earliest

I'll watch a version without ads just after it airs.
I'm staying up to watch it live on a certain paid site that streams it in almost HD quality, wouldn't bother if I had to watch it on those free streams buffering and with annoying ads

I'm watching it at a public screening.
Getting together with all my mates who watch it and going to the guy with the biggest TVs house after work on Monday.

In the past I've been watching it first thing when I get up on Netflix.

Netflix as soon as it's up.
Will watch it before college anyway, would find it absolutely unbearable to sit through class all day knowing that it's out there and that I could overhear a spoiler at any point!

Watching it in Flannerys in Limerick with a few mates and raising a few quid for charity at the same time. Feeling great to raise the few bob, sad to see my favourite show ever end...

me and my mate have watched the last two finales together, and watched the pilot together way back when. He's gonna come to my flat and we'll watch it around half five on monday.

Kinda resenting the fact that i can't watch it until then. I'm off on monday and everything. should be watching it at three am sunday night. :p

Netflix late Monday evening after work/other.
Watching it soon as is up on Netflix, taking a days leave to watch it! Could not deal with the wait til after work and knowing soo many chances of spoilers could pop up!

I won't be watching it. I'm way, way behind and I'm shocked that people on Facebook are being so spoiler free.

    Decent people.

Im going to switch off the internet from when I wake up on Monday morning....download the ep when I come home from work that evening and watch as soon as the kids go down to bed

Netflix late Monday evening after work/other.
    8:30 - Wake up.
8:35-8:59 - Emotionally prepare myself for the episode.
9:00 - Watch episode on Netflix.
9:53 - Cry for the rest of the day knowing its all over.

Will watch it about 9 pm Monday evening. Have a big bag of jelly belly beans and a bottle of cherryade put aside. Will be avoiding all internet until I've seen it, afraid of spoilers. If my brother or son spoil the ending for me before then there will be hell to pay! Couldn't watch it before work or the middle of the night.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,962 ✭✭✭✭dark crystal

Netflix as soon as it's up.
I've been forbidden to watch it until my fella finishes work, even though I have the day off.

So, we'll wait until the kids are in bed, then settle down and watch it together at around 9 or 10 o'clock. It's going to be so hard to avoid spoilers until then, though.

Although I'm looking forward to the finale, I'm absolutely gutted it's all over after this episode.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,570 ✭✭✭Mint Aero

Just finished series 1 this evening :) after watching first episode yesterday (friday) :)

Sadly there isn't enough hours in the day according to my calculations to catch up on time for the finale :(

So I'll spread it out and watch it at my leisure over the remaining year :) I'll find spoilers easy to avoid because a) I don't care and b) there easy to avoid.

    Thanks for reading :)

Lucky to be other side of the Atlantic here in Toronto, so will be watching live in a local bar. Had to desperately switch around my work shift for this, really looking forward to it!

Would it definitely be online up by 7:30 Monday morning? If I start watching after 7:40 it would leave me late for work.

I think watching it in a bar would ruin it imo.all you need is a mobile phone to go off and you miss something or what if some people in the bar don't want to watch it and chat throughout the whole episode?
