Big game for both teams, Arsenal look to continue their excellent record on the road while Swansea's recent form has been capped off with a magnificent win out in Valencia.
    Probable teams are:

I'd have thought Arteta might replace Flamini today.

    Hope Rambo's fit enough.

    Are they generally reliable?

Really can't see Monreal starting in left midfield?

3 points needed today lads. We have to take advantage of other teams slip-ups.

Arsenal XI: Szczesny, Sagna, Koscielny, Mertesacker, Gibbs, Wilshere, Ramsey, Flamini, Gnabry, Ozil, Giroud

Swansea: Tiendalli, Amat, Flores, Davies Canas, Shelvey de Guzman Dyer, Routledge; Michu

Arsenal subs: Fabianski, Vermaelen, Monreal, Jenkinson, Arteta, Ryo, Bendtner

Should have enough in that team to beat Swansea. A win today given other results would be brilliant.

Would put us 8 points ahead of United. I know it's early days but would be nice to see them chasing us for a change instead of the other way around.

If we don't get a few early-ish goals i have a feeling Bendtner will be making his first PL appearance for us in quite a while.

Utd & City both just lost, neither Chelsea or Spurs could win against each other... Arsenal to open up a lead at the top with a win here perhaps

Surprised gnabry is starting today. Looked wrecked in the league cup!

I wouldn't have him on either but maybe he's all we have left.

No Ashley Williams spells the end for Swansea today it seems.

    3 -- 1 to the Gunners :D:D:D

I would have started Gnabry given our injuries and his potential and his performance last week he has more than earned his spot. Plus there fcuk all options.

I don't think there is any maybe about it haha!

Think there is two first choice defenders out for Swansea today so he will have a chance I think

Gibbs caught badly out of position there. FFS focus lads.

Swansea with or without the first choice defnece we should be beating ;).

At least we get to see the legend that we should have signed during the summer Johnjo Shelvey :pac:.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,224 ✭✭✭✭Marty McFly

    Gibbs made that look easy

    Jack needs to calm down.

Ozil wanting to play the super ball all the time.
There are simpler passes to pick out.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,063 ✭✭✭✭tayto lover

    Great tackle from Gibbs there.

Ozil isn't really pulling his weight.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,819 ✭✭✭EuropeanSon

We need to step up a bit, not much real threat yet. We're letting them have too much of the ball too.

****ty tackle there, should've been a card.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,063 ✭✭✭✭tayto lover

    WTF are they at. Messing.
Far too many back passes to the keeper.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,621 ✭✭✭Jaafa

He's only gona go and make Flamini mad with a tackle like that.

Would like to see Bendtner on for Gnabry if it continues like this into the second half.

  • Administrators, Computer Games Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 32,532 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭Mickeroo

Not bad from Gnabry but thought he took a touch too many before the cross.

Thought he worked hard and did ok with a very poor midfield three behind him myself.

The ball isn't sticking with Gnabry or Wilshere at all; need to improve there really.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,300 ✭✭✭HazDanz

We are not moving enough off the ball. A bit flat at the minute

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,063 ✭✭✭✭tayto lover

We are far too slow in the build up. No quick ball at all. Bad as Walcott can be at times he is missed in games like this.

I think Gnabry has been doing ok, is passing and keeping the ball well. Wilshere yeh he looks a bit lost out there and we are looking very narrow.

Both defences have been very solid so far. Nothing looks like happening at all.

Fvck don't let Giroud be injured!
