had read those stats on the LFC website earlier also, and was surprised the difference in number of shots.

Anyone sticking with RVP? I am getting him back in for Aguero!

As things stand I may not make any transfer. It was nice having 2 free ones for last week and they could come in handy for a mini international break wildcard. There are moves I'd like to make but none that are totally essential right now.

Saying that with European matches and tomorrows game still to come things could change. If Ward-Prowse were to look like dropping in price I may have to take action there though. No idea why I brought him in on the WC as I knew he'd be dropped, my own fault for seeing others here bring him in even though I argued against it and I got the jitters at the last minute

I think he's shot his load now.

    Downhill after this

I been saying that for 2 weeks now. Meanwhile he continues to perform

I reckon he will drop again. Need to get rid myself, probably for Whittinham

Definitely another week with him since it's Sunderland. If he does nothing there, then he goes

I took an 8 point last week to bring in Michu, Barkley and Lukaku and I'm taken a 4 point hit this week to bring in Ozil and Dawson for Hazard and Turner.

I'm having an awful season so far (254 points), at least I have my wildcard left.

    Yes!

Edit: On second thoughts maybe just Toure for Ferdinand, Arsenals next few fixtures aren't bad.

I got rid of him a long time ago, and I won't be looking back.

Wonder if rooney will start at Sunderland? Must be a rotation risk if he starts in midweek as he's been playing every game recently incld carling cup.

Would imagine Rooney will be rested MIDWEEK and start Sunderland

The league is their bread and butter and the Mancs will go to Ukraine looking for a draw I think

The question whether Suarez is good or bad for Sturridge is really important and has it's own thread over on FISO.

My initial thoughts were Suarez would sit in the hole behind Sturridge, which would be good for Studge.

However so far (only two games! so don't go blaming me!) this has not been the case.

Suarez has so far been a clear striker with 15 shots in two games. Sturridge has been more like a right sided centre forward facilitator, who will get plenty assists and goals but is not the spearhead of the attack.

So it would seem Studge #shots will decrease significantly. I would like to wait and see to get stats for a few more games but I want Suarez long term so will probably pull the trigger this week, leaving a strikeforce of Giroud, Rooney, Suarez going forward.

i'm gonna hang onto rooney.....need to move on lamps or ward-prowse this week.

not sure who to get in......thinking about sidestepping yaya and ramsey but i could be swayed on ramsey. really should have got on sub 6m.

might just go ward-prowse to a cheapish mid like brady, barkley or amalfitano might be an option.

I'm thinking of getting Suarez in for Sturridge this week - means a 4 point hit as I needed to free up funds.

Is it worth a 4 point hit, considering they're playing Palace?

Suarez is going up in price tonight too.

Anyone think it's worth having a Suarez AND Sturridge strike force for one weekend home to palace before I roll my eildcard out?

I don't know if it is worth a hit, personal choice.

Some would say it is not worth doing at all, it is a marginal transfer and very sideways at first glance.

The other option some seem to be doing is Studge+Suarez and getting rid of Giroud. Arsenal have Napoli+Dortmund at home coming up whereas Pool canconcentrate on PL.

Does Giroud have the stamina for all these games?

Anyways, I am not looking at price changes on this one as I have plenty of coin and will make my decision Fri or Sat after all midweek games are over.

    Thinking of doing that too.

But it would probably have to be for Soldado who is home to West Ham so not a bad option either.

The benefit is to pick up the 0.3 that Suarez will go up this week.

    Still considering.

I'm playing with all the signs of a player with wreckless abandon.

4 point hit. May make that 8.

Giroud and Redmond out out out

Ramsey and Suarez in in in.

Why. Couldn't tell you. Just very bored :D

Originally I would have thought sturridge due to price and what i thought liverpools formation would be (sturridge central, suarez coming in off the left in a 433) was going to be the better option. However with them going 3 5 2 I know think suarez is the better option.

In your situation its a no brainer you get price rises out of both of them, you have the two best captaincy options this week and then you get to pick the one you prefer when you wildcard.

-4 for these 2 transfers is quite reasonable IMO

Especially as you are the king of taking point hits;)

A friend of mine had them both in this week Suarez (C) - 26 and Sturridge 14 so 40 points of your 2 strikers was an amazing return this weekend anyway

yeah but Giroud out makes no sense to me :pac:

I took an 8 point hit last week to get out the following...

    Lampard (2)
Walcott didn't play (0) replaced by Kosielny (2)
    RVP as captain (2)
    Benteke didn't play (0) replaced by Ward-Prowse (1)

    Total: 7 points

    ...and get in the following....

    Ozil (2)
    Michu (2)
    Rooney (16)
    Lukaku (?)

Total: 20 + Lukaku to play.

So 5 points up which is decent. If Lukaku scores a few, it'll be a great success!
