I have changed the Thread Title to include Videos as when next gen version comes out, I'm sure there will be lots of user videos being uploaded directly to Youtube (new feature on PS4 with the Share button, not sure if Xbox One has anything like that?)

I know myself there have been epic moments online with the crew and if 2,3,4 people record the same 15 minute session, then get someone to to edit them altogether from youtube to make a class crew vid, then that would be class . Also, the Share button on PS4 also takes pics and you can save to USB or upload to facebook so more pics will popping up here from the Share feature, full screen shots, not just in-game phone shots.

Anyway, enough text, Kesh were ye actually recreating Terminator 2 the other night? That looks savage!

Is it worth downloading that ps4 share/editing app, forget the name of it?

The app is good but only for heavy editing. Basically...

By default, pressing the Share button once brings up the Share menu where you can choose to upload/save a video or screenshot.

Press and hold the Share button to take a screenshot.

Double click Share button to star video recording. It will record the next 15 minutes and save the file automatically.

You can press the Share button, open the Share Menu and then press the Options button to change the settings. From here you can select 'Easy Screenshots'. This makes the button do = 1 click for screenshot and press and hold for the menu. I much prefer it this way.

From the menu, you can see all saved videos and screenshots and upload them to facebook or yotube from there. You can also edit them by picking a start and end point so you're not stuck with 15 minutes of a video.

The app you can get does the same but you can add music and have multiple cut points, not just a beginning and an ending, so you make like a highlight vid.

download a demo and mess around with it, took me a little while to get used to it but will be very handy for this game.

Didn't know which thread to ask this .

Does anybody know on the Ps4 when you record your game clip , will the headset chat also be recorded ?

Maybe this is obvious but I honestly haven't a clue,

I think it would be great if it did, for skits , movie remakes , music videos , and general talking madness.

you can select an option whether to record your voice or not. hope it picks up other peoples voices though as well.

That's fairly cool ,

I would imagine it would record other peoples then , suppose after that it would depend on clarity of others headsets and voice volume levels otherwise it would be a ricecrispy fest .

Poor Youtube will explode with all the vids being uploaded

Hopefully anyway. The video won't record certain things like licensed music or the commentating on UFC so who knows, it might not pick up other peoples voices as they wouldn't have given permission to be recorded. At least the PS4 comes with a headset (earpiece with mic on the lead that plugs straight into your joypad and you can create chat parties in the PS4 menu that work through games so you can have a private chat going on while you are muted to the game chat.

Actually just looked it up and the video recorder doesn't pick up other peoples voices or chat parties

And so to keep the post on topic, Here is a farewell to my last gen homies. I traded in GTA V and have preordered it on next gen. Lads it was a class year and great going through this thread to see some brilliant pics.

Mate was asking me how to jump out of a moving car cause he wanted to jump out as he went over a ramp and try to take out a chopper, made me think of Die Hard, we can recreate that scene with the car hitting the chopper, I'll be McClane and Proco can be the guy in the chopper that jumps out before it blows
