10 x 10 Deadlift/Bent Over Rows

As part of a training plan I was given it says to do 10x10 of medium weight deadlifts and also the same for bent over rows.

I am new to deadlifts and have been practicing form etc with just the bar but would 10x10 of this type of lift be dangerous given the possible lack of form after set 6-7 due to fatugue?
To be honest, I wouldn't say I could get close to 10x10 anyway, even with a very light weight.
Would 10x10 deadlifts and bent over row be too much for my lower back on the same day?

    Thanks,
    Kaz

I would think 100 Deadlifts is very silly, yes. What is the program?

I wouldn't do bent rows after DLs, your lower back will be totalled from it.

Keep the DLs if you wish, but maybe something like seated cable row or DB row would be better for it.

Both sound like a terrible idea.

10x10 RDLs or SLDLs maybe. Not normal DLS tho.

As for following to with BO rows... Disaster waiting to happen.

I done 10 x 10 deadlifts before using 65% of my max at the time, used straps for the last few sets, and 1 min rests. Wasn't too bad in general. Probably wouldn't do it again and definitely wouldn't superset it. If i was to superset I'd probably do something unrelated like seated db over head press

Yeah man :) Nowhere near as heavy or as bad as things were before. I was rushing things, I learned my lesson :P

Plan on getting screened in college for a third year who needs it for part of there assessment and see how that goes:)

Thanks all for the replies, it was as I suspected, dangerous to say the least and I had my doubts from the start.
I was looking for a weights plan to do for 40-45 minutes after spinning 3 times a week for toning.
At the moment thats all the time I can commit to , perhaps the odd Saturday morning session.

    Thanks,

Instead of 10 x 10, try something like on the minute do 3 for 10 mins, use the rest of each min as rest.

    10 x 10 will destroy your back

I assume you are doing GVT?

I have DL's and Rows coming up (separate days) in my next phase, 10x6 though (which I still am apprehensive about, given the volume hitting the lower back).

I'm going to see how I get on anyway.
