Help me find a decent routine

    Hi folks,

Due to responses in threads like this it became apparent to me that my workout routine was lacking, to say the least. I want to get a decent one, but my gym has limited equipment, so some exercises such as rowing, barbells and pull-ups are off-limits to me. I do have access to dumbbells, a bench, fly machine, leg extensions machines, a lat pulldown machine and dip bars.

    My details are

33 year old male. 6 foot tall, about 13.5 stone. Healthy diet (not looking for advice in that respect), have time for 3 trips to the gym a week.

So, can anyone suggest a decent routine that works for someone with my limited machinery? I had looked at some of the 5x5 ones but they all seem to assume you have a lot of equipment.

A 5x5 on Compounds can be done with hardly any equipment.
    Does your gym have bars?

Barbells? No, unfortunately, just dumbbells. Or do you mean like parallel bars for doing dips? Yeah, it has them.

You could take a 5x5 and alter it to what you can do without barbells, i.e Goblet/BW squats etc.
    Or find a real gym.
