If the film is good it won't matter when it last was on.

It's a ballsy move making it though.

took junior to see it, a few cringe moments but some good lol ones too. like poster above it is what it is and didnt mind throwing a few shekles at an irish movie. also minor amusing but we saw it in the Point village which is where the film opens in the car park

Just seen an ad for 9.45 on RTE 1 this Saturday

The movie is appalling, I'd be surprised if the majority don't turn it off after 15 to 20 minutes. I saw the tv show in the past and it did have it's funny moments but the movie is just not funny at all. Just lots of bad language trying to make people laugh but it gets tired after a few minutes.

If fact, the movie was so bad, I dumped the Tv show I had too and vowed never to watch the ****e ever again. You'll understand what I'm talking about when you see the rubbish.

Andrew Quirke spends his days now on Twitter posting right wing conspiracy theories and railing against RTE. He had no problems taking their money when they were enabling him with his garbage sitcom. He blocked me the other day for pointing this out to him after he posted a meme of a sinking liner with the RTE logo photocopied onto it (on a story about Clare Daly).

It was truly dreadful. I'm amazed how long it lasted and that they got a movie out of it. Quirke must have had some dirt on someone senior in RTE

I have no problem with him freely expressing his views. Once upon a time that was encouraged in Ireland.

Its funny that he's posting these brain farts not under his own name, but that of his shite series which ended a decade ago.

While he's entitled to his views, it'd odd and sad that he's using the Damo & Ivor Twitter page to promote them. It'd be like opening up a copy of The Dandy and finding out the illustrator's feelings on Austrian Economics. It's just not the right place for it.
