    Hi there
    Need ur advice
I have smacked my big toe off the bed ledge and the nail has halved. Should I remove the nail completely and expose nail bed. Have a plaster wrapped on it currently

eurgh, that's neither healthy or fit.

don't we have a thread for gross injuries.

Fwiw, i ripped my fingernails off twice when I was a kid, and both times I grew a pair and finished the job, wrapped it in a plaster and got back on the horse. (well, skateboard)

Actually I winced, cried and made whimpering sounds while flapping my hand around like a baby girl, but the nails came off.

sack up. pull the offending nail off carefully, keep it clean and protected. and see a doctor. better yet, see a DR, then pull off your nail like a man. (men can cry and scream in these situations)
