Might have to get the PS3 version although I'd say it will be patched pronto....

Shíte, my xbox sounds like a jet engine trying to take off and the disc tray isn't sitting level or something, so it makes a horrible noise if you don't install it to the hard drive.

Simple solutions to this folks put the Xbox in the next room, drill a few small holes through the wall for the TV cables and boom job done.

That's what I want to know, like if I don't install the play disc what am I going to miss out on?

Yes. After the mandatory 8GB install, the second disc is optional to install.

I like to install my games because it makes the console quieter and slightly reduces load times. It will still run perfectly if not installed.

Sorry. Both consoles have a mandatory 8GB install. PS3 comes with one disc while Xbox comes with two.

On Xbox, you need to install one of the discs and after, it will be no longer needed and you play with disc 2.

Oh right cheers, so jutting don't install disc 2 just put it in when I want to play?

So installed the first disc last night, that took about 10-15 mins, it then told me to put the second one in, did that and left it for only a couple of minutes and then started the first mission, how ever I'm not sure if I installed the second disc because I'm not all that impressed by the graphics of the game.

I bought it an hour ago and I have only 1 disc, works fine.

So is it recommended to install disc 2 on a usb key or just let the disc play as you are playing it?

I was up in the friends house having a look at this game and he installed both discs onto the xbox 360 HDD and i think it looks awesome, and the game-play is as smooth as gravy.

I played 3 missions and there are no problems with graphics in any shape or form, it works great. He is using the very first xbox 360 that was sold on the first day of release many years ago. The fan can be a little noisy but that's the only minor thing.

+1 not that impressed by the graphics or the way the cars handle in the game but the sheer size of the map and the content of the game is impressive Imo.

Have disc two installed on my corsair voyager gt 16gb, no issues runs smoother than off disc.
No texture issues whatsoever.
