No models quoted so I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole. I've heard of Akai audio gear but not for a while and have never heard of Cello TVs - sounds like junk if you ask me.

A quick bit of research says that Akai is just a brand sticker nowadays i.e. the brand name was purchased as a commodity and is now slapped on to items manufactured somewhere in Asia meaning that the brand has no value whatsoever and is no better or worse than a brand you never heard of.

That's 3 different tvs from 2 different makers: are you interested in a particular one?

Cello have some Saorview approved models:http://www.saorview.ie/product/cello/

It's likely any tv you buy now will work with Saorview, in its present form anyway. If you want to play it safe for the future, get an approved model.
